TICKETS are still available for a Burton theatre group’s version of a hit BBC television show.

Up Pompeii, by Little Theatre Company, opens tomorrow at the Brewhouse Arts Centre, in Union Street, and is performed every night at 7.30pm up to and including the Saturday.

There is also a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.

Tickets are £8 with £7 concessions available Tuesday to Thursday only.

All matinee tickets are £7.

Tickets are available by calling 01283 508100 or visiting the Brewhouse box office in person to buy them.

Written by Miles Tredinnick, the play features all the characters from the BBC TV Frankie Howerd sitcom of the 1970s.

The set has been created and built by Little Theatre Company’s own talented set building team and scenic artist - all local volunteers and company members.

Last week the Mail reported how Mr Tredinnick had sent a ‘good luck’ message to the cast after learning that they were set to put on the play.

He said: “All the best to the cast and crew of Up Pompeii.”
