It's another match against the Bluebirds for the Brewers - with the pair meeting on the opening day resulting in a 1-0 win for Cardiff that has seen them yet to drop points this season.
Burton, meanwhile, can expect to see former Cardiff defender Ben Turner return to the starting line-up after serving a five-match ban from the start of the season.
Winger Sean Scannell, signed from Huddersfield Town on Friday evening, can also expect to make his debut tonight.

They did well, the youngsters especially. The second goal, for them to combine and make the goal. It’s lovely to get youngsters in. The cup gives you that option to get some youngsters in and they combined for the second goal which is great. it’ll give all our academy a boost as well, back in Burton.

II thought it was a very good performance. The only thing we are disappointed with is is we ended up hanging on at the end, which in the first 75 minutes of the game didn’t deserve or didn’t warrant us to be hanging on.
