Nigel Clough reckons that combination from Joe Sbarra and Ben Fox for the second goal will give the Brewers' academy a boost

They did well, the youngsters especially. The second goal, for them to combine and make the goal. It’s lovely to get youngsters in. The cup gives you that option to get some youngsters in and they combined for the second goal which is great. it’ll give all our academy a boost as well, back in Burton.

Nigel Clough reacts to tonight's 2-1 win over Cardiff City

II thought it was a very good performance. The only thing we are disappointed with is is we ended up hanging on at the end, which in the first 75 minutes of the game didn’t deserve or didn’t warrant us to be hanging on.
