Milton Keynes Dons have signed Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Tshibola on a season-long loan.

The 22-year-old has been shown the exit door by Villa manager Steve Bruce following an unsuccessful move to Villa Park from Reading last summer.

Tshibola was sent out on loan to Nottingham Forest in January - along with fellow Villan Ross McCormack - and has been unable to force his way into Bruce's side for the upcoming 2017/18 campaign.

"The club matches my ambitions and I feel like this is the perfect place for me to be right now," he told the club website .

Hull City have completed the signing of defender Michael Hector on a season-long loan deal from Premier League champions Chelsea.

Hector returns to English football following a temporary spell in Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt, where he made 27 appearances for the Bundesliga side.

“It’s a great challenge for me to come back to England after a season in Germany and try to help this Club get back into the Premier League," the 25-year-old said yesterday .

“The players here seem like a great bunch and hopefully I can play my part in helping them - and the Club - enjoy a successful season in 2017/18.”

Derby County defender Andre Wisdom reckons he is all the better for his various loan spells during his time with Liverpool.

Wisdom signed for the Rams this summer in a deal worth up to £4.5 million - and has finally found a permanent home following loan spells at Red Bull Salzburg, Norwich City, West Bromwich Albion and Derby in the past four years.

“I had some good times out on loan; at Salzburg we won the league and the cup and that was brilliant," he told Rams TV .

“When that opportunity came up I was a bit sceptical about going to Austria, but I am glad I went looking back."

Sunderland have completed the double-signing of AFC Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban on a season-long loan and goalkeeper Jason Steele.

The forward became new Black Cats manager Simon Grayson's fifth signing of the summer and brings Premier League experience to the Stadium of Light, following top-flight spells with Bournemouth and Norwich City.

The 29-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Reading, where his performances helped the Royals reach the Sky Bet Championship play-off final - eventually losing out to Huddersfield Town.

Steele followed Grabban to the Wearside club, putting pen to paper on a four-year deal to become Sunderland's sixth summer signing - joining from relegated Blackburn Rovers.
