Burton Albion head to Elland Road this afternoon hoping to extend their three-match unbeaten run on all competitions with a positive result against Leeds United.

The Brewers face Thomas Christiansen's Whites - unbeaten themselves so far this season - who are hoping to claim their first home win of the campaign, having drawn their previous two league games on home turf and winning their opening three games on the road.

Albion have the likes of Matty Lund and Stephen Warnock available after their spells out with injury, with Luke Murphy ineligible to face his parent club. Hope Akpan and Luke Varney are likely to miss out through injury.

That means Albion boss Nigel Clough, who suffered his first loss against Leeds as a manager last term after that 2-0 defeat at Elland Road in October, could field Jamie Allen in midfield for the first time since his deadline-day move from Rochdale.

Fellow late signings John Brayford and Will Miller could also make their first appearances as permanent Brewers since joining on August 31.
