Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke is ready for a reaction from Burton Albion at Carrow Road after Saturday's 5-0 defeat at Leeds United.

The Brewers travel to take on the Canaries tomorrow night (7.45pm), fresh from a resounding loss at Elland Road at the weekend - their third successive away loss in the Championship this term.

One notable characteristic of the Burton Albion side that survived in the second tier last term was their ability to bounce back from setbacks.

Nigel Clough has spoken about using that attitude as they prepare to take on Norwich, who secured their second win of the campaign on Saturday by defeating Birmingham City at Carrow Road.

Burton Albion were powerless to avoid defeat at Leeds United

And Clough's opposite number Farke is readying his side to expect a backlash after Burton's Leeds defeat - and he knows how important the opening goal could prove.

"They'll come here with a great attitude to repair their result against Leeds," he said.

"You never know how a team will play exactly, but I expect them to be a little bit more compact than Birmingham and to not give us much space to play.

"It might not be so easy to create chances so we'll have to keep the speed in our possession high and to give them plenty to work on.

"We know how important it is to score the first goal, and we know we have to be hungry to score and to concentrate on our finishing situation.

"We have to force the situations and then be ice cool in the finishing situations."
