Leeds United have signed defenders Cameron Borthwick-Jackson on a season-long loan from Manchester United.

The left-back joins the Whites from Jose Mourinho's side, with Borthwick-Jackson facing competition from Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind for the position.

Borthwick-Jackson made his United bow in November 2015 under Louis Van Gaal and has since made 14 appearances for the Old Trafford side.

The 20 year-old has since spent time on loan with Championship outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he made seven appearances last term.

Martyn Waghorn has joined Ipswich Town from Rangers this afternoon on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The former England under-21 international leaves the Gers having moved north of the border in 2015, and returns hoping to fire Ipswich to Championship success.

"I know about all the history of Ipswich and watched the Club when they were in Europe. I know what a good club it is so it’s a great opportunity for me," Waghorn told iFollow Ipswich Town.

"I was at Sunderland’s Academy and was a ballboy at games when he [Mick McCarthy] was manager there so I know all about the manager here as well. He’s achieved a lot in the game and I’m grateful to him for giving me the chance to come here and play games."

Birmingham City are set to allow midfielder Corey O'Keeffe join League Two side Yeovil Town on loan, according to the Birmingham Mail.

The versatile midfielder, who can also play at full-back, has been coveted by the Glovers and Harry Redknapp confirmed that he is willing to let him go out on loan and gain some first-team experience.

O'Keeffe has been involved with the Blues' pre-season friendlies and captained the XI who beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-2 last week - but with first-team opportunities limited at present, he is being sent out on loan.

Yeovil are seeking reinforcements after losing their first match of the season 8-2 at Luton Town, with Town's players refunding their travelling support after the embarrassing display at Kenilworth Road.

Derby County manager Gary Rowett has revealed that Rams fans might have to wait for more signings to come through the doors at Pride Park.

So far, Derby have added Curtis Davies, Andrew Wisdom and Tom Huddlestone to their ranks, but boss Gary Rowett is hoping to concluded a few more deals before August 31.

And the Rams will have to be patient in their bid to bring in another new face or two, especially loans from top-flight clubs.

"Historically, most of those deals are done late. So we might have to be patient with one or two of those," Rowett told the Derby Telegraph.
