AFTER almost 10 months of planning, a group of fifteen volunteers representing Burton Albion Community Trust and the community are all set to begin what looks set to be ‘a trip of a lifetime’.
The trust and volunteers head to Ghana to make a real difference to the lives of the children in the West African nation by providing education and sports coaching.
At the same time funds will support the work of the trust in the Burton area.
Matt Hancock, community manager at the trust, said: “The whole team have raised an incredible amount of money in preparation for the visit. We have climbed Snowdon in terrible conditions and done bucket collections at matches.”
