A new sausage roll, hailed as the UK's longest, will be available at Morrisons for one week only.
The foot-long pastry is available all week from the supermarket giant which has stores in Burton and Swadlincote.
The sausage roll, that weighs in a nearly half a kilogram, has to be served on a special tray to hold its weight, rather than being served in the traditional paper bag.
It has been launched in time for the start of the football season to be the 'ultimate match day pie experience', say Morrisons bosses.
Matt Goodley, store manager at the Burton store said: "We sell hundreds of freshly baked sausage rolls a week but customers have asked for one that's even bigger, so we created this foot-long version.
"With the start of the football season approaching, we're hoping our foot long sausage roll will be making its way to the top of the snack league table."
The new product has created a stir online with people all over the world taking to Twitter to share their excitement.
One user, by the name of @SpalexLaine, said: "Morrisons making and selling a foot long sausage roll for a quid is the best thing to come out of 2017."
Meanwhile, @JoshuaBurrows90 shared a photo of the roll and said: "Morrisons have answered my prayers, the foot long sausage roll."
@MattJ155 said: "A foot long sausage roll is my ultimate food dream."
Morrisons new foot long sausage roll is available for just £1 until Sunday, August 13.
