A fun day fund-raiser is being held in a village near Burton to provide a cash boost for a children's hospital. Daniel Boulter and a group of friends will be holding an agricultural festival this weekend.

The event will be held in Anslow and will raise money for Birmingham's Children's Hospital. Among the highlights will be a total of 35 tractors all competing to be declared the most powerful.

There will also be hook-a-duck, a bouncy castle, a barbecue, as well as the possibility of a police car and a fire engine

Mr Boulter said: "It was my friend's son who had difficulties and spent time at the hospital. We all have children so we wanted to help out."

The festival will be held from noon on Saturday, July 15, at the Bell Inn, in Main Street, Anslow.
