Singers, actors, dancers and crew are being sought for the latest pantomime launched by a top amateur dramatics group. Denstone Players has built up a strong reputation down the years for its quality plays, farces and pantos.

The most recent pantomime saw record crowds pack into Denstone Village Hall for a production of Aladdin in February.

Now the Players are embarking on another comedic journey by putting on a traditional production of The Wizard of Oz.

Roles including classic characters Dorothy, Tin Man and Scarecrow will be up for grabs during open auditions at 2pm on Sunday, September 10 at Denstone Village Hall.

The production will perform at the hall in February. More information about the group is available online here.
