One of the most popular events in the South Derbyshire calendar is back and bringing another spectacular array of colour.

Hatton Carnival will not only boast a street entertainer, there will be a parade of floats and a Hurricane flyover.

The event, which is free to attend will be being held on Saturday, July 15, at Scropton Sports and Social Club grounds, in Scropton Road, Hatton.

A parade through the village starts behind the Co-op, in Station Road, at noon, led by the fire engine, prince and princess float and the Derby Midshipman Band.

Clown Bluey entertaining the crowds in the arena with his replica model Tford fire engine, along with a hypnotist/magician, Makeney Morris Dancers, dance groups, a fun dog show, a free photobooth, funfair, craft tent, tea tent, a gin stall, and a Pimm's stand.
