Villagers turned out in their droves to enjoy Britain’s oldest folk ritual dance. Antler-clad dancers took a route through Abbots Bromley and to Blithfield Hall during this year's Horn Dance.

The first dance was recorded as having taken place in 1226, but many historians believe it is even older.

It takes place every Wakes Monday and sees participants don their coveted outfits, grab their melodions and entertain the crowds.

The dance often attracts national interest, with several major media outlets covering the spectacle this year.

Other attractions for visitors usually include gift and crafts stalls on the village green.
