A rally designed to keep the whole family entertained is heading to Barton under Needwood. The Barton Steam Rally will be rolling in to Needwood Rise Farm, at Barton Gate, from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, July 15, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday, July 16 to raise money for charities across the area.

Attractions will include rack saw wood cutting demonstrations, commercial and military vehicles, vintage and classic cars, vintage motorcycles and cycles, stationary engines and tractors as well as auto jumble, trade stalls and a craft marquee.

For the children there will be Oreo and Friends Animal Encounters, children’s fairground rides, a low ropes course and a magician. Visitors will be able to make the most of dog agility and display, a falconry display, chainsaw sculpture demonstrations, Miniature Steam Train Ride from the Burton Model Engineering Society, miniature steam engine rides, archery, gun and working dog display, Walton Lions Rifle Range, live music and a beer tent.
