An East Staffordshire pub will celebrate an autumnal milestone with a weekend of crafts, entertainment and revelry.

The Swan Inn, off the A515, in Draycott in the Clay, will mark the Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 23. Craft and gift stalls will be in abundance between 2pm and 5pm.

They will form part of a daytime fete, which will also feature paint a pot sessions, a raffle and a a bouncy castle.

A petting zoo, falconry display and ponies will be on hand to satisfy animal lovers. Those more mechanically minded can enjoy a classic traction engine display.

Anyone wishing to run stalls at a cost of £10 should call Wendy Harrogate on 07771 756222. A 1980s music and Motown disco will run at the pub from 8pm until late.

Tickets cost £5 and include a hog roast. Proceeds will go to the Uttoxeter Pyramid Autistic Spectrum Club. They can be purchased by calling the Swan on 01283 821491.
