A TEACHER made an unusual discovery when she found an undeveloped film in a new camera – of family holiday pictures taken 40 years ago.

Cali Teasel, from Stapenhill, said she could not believe her eyes when she found the long lost photos from a family holiday that had never been developed.

The 22-year-old has now issued an appeal to see if anyone recognises anyone pictured in some of the snaps she unearthed.

The images show a family enjoying the sunshine in both Llandudno and Llanfairfechan.

She said: "The two places in the photos are Llanfairfechan and Llandudno in North Wales.

"We're thinking from some of the other photos that they were staying in Llandudno and went for a day trip to Llanfairfechan.

"The car was a Ford Zodiac Mk4 made between 1966 and 1972, so we're thinking more towards the early 1970s."

Miss Teasel's initial post on Facebook appealing for information has been shared 1,654 times so far.

She added: "I bought a camera in Lichfield a few weeks back and discovered an undeveloped film in the back.

"I got the film back and these are some of the photos that I found."

Miss Teasel's story has been picked up and published by media outlets across Wales.

Anyone who thinks they might recognise someone in the pictures is urged to email rob.smyth@burtonmail.co.uk
