**Entry to the Burton Mail Business Awards is free; entry form can be downloaded here **

The eighth annual Burton Mail Business Awards is fast approaching and it could not be easier for firms of all shapes and sizes to be in with a chance of winning.

There are 11 awards to be won, including the prestigious Business of the Year, and firms can enter as many categories as they wish.

All you have to do is head to www.burtonmail.co.uk/burtonmailbusinessawards / and follow the simple and easy process by using the button that says 'Click Here'. Once you do that a special editable form is downloaded direct to your desktop.

All you have to do then is pick as many categories as you would like to enter, fill in the downloadable entry form - you can enter all the categories you want on one form - providing answers to all the simple questions and then send your application form to awards director Dave Bryon by emailing d.bryon@burton-chamber.com before the September 8 deadline.

Burton Mail editor Emma Turton said: "It could not be easier for firms across East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire to enter the eighth annual Burton Mail Business Awards.

"They head online, download a form, answer a few questions and then they are in the running for one of 11 awards. Firms looking to enter more than one category can also do so all on the same form – it could not be simpler.

"We have been astonished by the level of quality businesses being put forward for awards so far, but we know there are so many others out there who deserve to be honoured for their great work.

"All that is left to say is get online and get applying so you don't miss out on being part of the Burton Mail Business Awards 2017."

Businesses of all shapes and sizes have until Friday, September 8, to get their entries submitted and then they will be reviewed and evaluated by the judging panel before a shortlist is drawn up.

The three finalists in each category will then be visited by the judges before a final decision is made.

The winners will be finally announced at the unmissable gala night at Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium on Thursday, October 19.

This year sees the introduction of two new awards – Medium Business of the Year (21-100 FTEs) and the Leisure and Hospitality Award, which incorporates everything from retail to restaurants.
