A crash involving three cars is causing traffic mayhem on the A38 this morning.

Traffic information company Inrix says the main route is currently blocked between the A5250 Littleover turn off and A516.

Google Maps is showing heavy traffic in the area.

Traffic information company Inrix has confirmed the accident has now cleared on the A38.

It’s latest update says: “Traffic has returned to normal.”

Traffic problems appear to have eased

According to Google Maps traffic problems on the A38 appear to have eased up.

Previous black lines on its traffic tracker have now been replaced by green lines - indicating traffic is running as normal for this time of the day.
