Two thousand disgusting and perverted text messages sent by shamed Burton MP Andrew Griffiths to two barmaids have now been revealed.

Married Tory MP Mr Griffiths has quit as small business minister over perverted demands he made in 2,000 texts sent to two barmaids.

One of which said: "Daddy's busy running the country", says the title.

The father-of-one even sent Imogen Treharne, from Winshill, and her friend £700 and offered to rent a flat to meet for sex, the Sunday Mirror reports.

He demanded explicit photos and videos and described degrading sex acts in crude detail, the Mirror has reported.

The Tory is married to Kate and only welcomed his first child, Alice, in April, this year.

Mr Griffiths, who was only handed the role of small business minister in January, has said in a statement he was “deeply shamed”, apologised for embarrassing Prime Minister Theresa May and said he would be “seeking help”. He has now resigned from this post following the texts.

He bombarded the girls with scores of messages virtually every day for three weeks after striking up a friendship on social media.

In a string of texts Griffiths called himself “Daddy”, promised money if he received racy images and described perverted and rough sex he claimed to have had with other women, the Mirror says.

The Mirror says the shamed Tory wrote:

“I’m going to need something filthy to put a smile on my face. I want to see you both naked.”

“Take off the bra and panties… you’ve got Daddy in such a frenzy.”

“I’m going to bring you to London and do whatever I want to you.”

“I’m thinking maybe we need a flat for Daddy’s girls. I’m taken by you both. You girls are spectacular.”

Many more messages go into shocking detail about his liking for certain sexual acts and are too disgusting to print in full, the Mirror has said.

The MP also boasted about being powerful in politics. He claimed he was thinking about the girls as he drank Champagne with Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace.

He boasted about having a friendship with opera star Katherine Jenkins, says the Mirror.

And he belittled TV star and model Katie Price, who he met at a fund-raising event, saying she “looked like a cat”, says our sister title.

Many of his texts were sent to Imogen and her friend before and after conducting important Parliamentary business.

He fired off one at 4.10pm on June 20, just 25 minutes after voting against the Government’s Brexit bill, says the article.

The vile MP talked about getting rough

And he gleefully boasted to the girls: “Daddy’s busy running the country.”

Mr Griffiths, who only became Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Small Business in January, did not return calls when contacted by the Burton Mail but has released a statement to the Mirror apologising for his behaviour.

It reads: "I am deeply ashamed at my behaviour which has caused untold distress to my wife and family, to whom I owe everything, and deep embarrassment to the Prime Minister and the Government I am so proud to serve.

"I tendered my resignation as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Small Business on Friday night.

"Following discussions today with the Chief Whip I have referred myself to the Conservative Party’s Code of Conduct procedures.

"I entirely accept that pending this investigation it is right the Whip is withdrawn.

"I wish to apologise to my constituency association and to the people of Burton I am honoured to represent.

"I do not seek to excuse my behaviour and will be seeking professional help to ensure it never happens again."In time I hope to earn the forgiveness of all those who put their trust in me and that I have let down so terribly.

"The Prime Minister and the Government she leads will continue to have my full support."

A spokesman for the department of business, energy and industrial strategy (BEIS) said: “Andrew Griffiths resigned as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Small Business on Friday night for personal reasons.”
