A broken down vehicle is causing delays for motorists this afternoon on Saturday, August 5.
One lane of four is closed and there is very slow traffic due to a vehicle that pulled over to the verge of the road.
Traffic information website Inrix reports that motorists can expect delays between junction 29 A617 and A6175 for Chesterfield and Mansfield and junction 28 A38 for Alfreton and Mansfield.
Elsewhere on the roads, drivers are reminded that the exit slip road on the A38 northbound will be closed this evening between 10pm and 6am.
The exit slip road at the A5121 at Clay Mills will be closed due to road works. Work is due to finish tomorrow.
