An eight-year-old 'one in a billion' Burton Albion fan is flying the flag for his beloved Brewers - even on a family holiday to India!
Shiv Purandare visited one of the Wonders of the World along with parents Sunit and Shruti, over the Easter break.
While he was there, he was proud to wear his Brewers shirt in the knowledge he may have been the only person in the whole of India wearing one.
The youngster regularly attends matches but will swap a seat for standing on the terrace as he believes the team do better when he is standing up.
Mother Shruti said: "Shiv strongly believes that if he goes in the stands to watch Burton Albion it brings luck to the team and they perform very well.
"He was born and brought up in Burton and has been supporting The Brewers since he was five.
"Shiv went to see the Taj Mahal this Easter holidays and when he wore his Burton Albion shirt, he asked his dad 'am I the only one who is wearing a Burton Albion shirt?'
"His dad said 'yes, you are Shiv - probably one in a billion!'"
The young football fan's first game was in December 2015 against Swindon Town when The Brewers won 1-0 following a late penalty from Shiv's favourite player Lucas Atkins.
