Hairdresser Megan Howe, from Burton, has been given the opportunity to show off her skills as a L’Oreal ID Artist. Through the scheme, Megan, who owns El Momento salon in Burton, will work alongside top stylists to develop her skills.
Megan took a break from her hectic schedule to let us know a little bit more about her.
Favourite film or TV series? Bridesmaids.
Favourite takeaway? I don’t really like takeaways, I prefer home-cooked food.
Tell us one thing no-one knows about you? I can’t tell the time on an analogue clock. I always have to have digital ones.
What’s your ultimate ambition in life? Just to be happy with what I am doing.
Pet hates? People eating loudly – that’s one of my biggest hates.
What’s your favourite song? I can’t choose just one – there’s so many songs that I love!
Marmite? Love it or hate it? Hate it.
What’s your worst habit? Twisting my hair; people are always telling me to stop!
What was your first car? I had a VW Fox in grey; it didn’t have a name though. I don’t name my cars.
If you could make a law, what would it be? People aren’t allowed to be nasty to other people. Most comments you can keep to yourself.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be? I’d love to go to Japan – it’s so different to other places. I’d love to see their culture and compare how different it is to the UK.
Who would you invite to a dinner party - dead or alive? My Nan; she’s a really interesting person and it would just be so much fun to have her at a dinner party.
What would you do if you won the lottery? I’d give some to my friends and family and I’d choose to charity to give a lot of it to. I’d probably go on a nice holiday too, as a little treat.
