A Burton gym’s wet side facilities have been closed this week due to health and safety issue. The Burton Mail was informed that Bannatyne Health Club, which is situated at Centrum 100, has closed down its wet area facilities due to health and safety reasons, but that gym users did not know what the health and safety reasons were.
A spokesman for Bannatyne said the company was in the process of revamping the sauna and were taking the door off but it smashed into pieces on the floor. As a result, the team has had to close off the wet area while the glass is cleared.
The facilities are due to open on Friday, August 11.
