Residents in Shobnall are being given the opportunity to have their say on the future developments in their area.
East Staffordshire Borough Council is asking residents, community groups and businesses in Shobnall for their thoughts on the draft Shobnall Neighbourhood Plan.
The Neighbourhood Plan is a proposal for the future development of Shobnall. It has been written to be used as part of the planning and development system for the area.
It is intended to be used by the council to make decisions on planning applications for new development in Shobnall.
ESBC submitted its plan to the council in July and it is now out for consultation for six weeks before it is independently examined.
Responses to the consultation can be submitted between Wednesday, August 23, and Wednesday, October 4.
Councillor Jacqui Jones, the council's deputy leader for planning, said: "The Neighbourhood Plan, one of 17 being written in East Staffordshire, is the culmination of lots of hard work and consultation undertaken by the Neighbourhood Plan steering group.
"It will help shape Shobnall in the years to come and this consultation gives all Shobnall residents, businesses and community groups the opportunity to share their thoughts with the council and help shape the future of their area."
The plan and other submission documents are available by visiting the website here.
Hard copies of the plan can be viewed at Burton ESBC Customer Service Centre, Burton Library, Burton Town Hall and the BACT, in Grange Street.
