Residents living in Horninglow are being invited to attend a meeting to have their say on their local area.

Horninglow and Eton Parish Council is hosting a budget priority event and hopes it will be well-attended.

The parish council is inviting local residents to drop in to give feedback on what key priorities the parish council should be budgeting for 2018.

The parish council has responsibilities for maintaining footpaths, spending money on various crime prevention measures, ability to provide entertainment such as festivals, as well as providing bins.

Importantly, it is also able to object to planning applications.

The event will run from 5pm to 7pm, on Tuesday, September 5, at the Wyggeston Hotel function room, in Calais Road, Horninglow.
