Police say they confiscated a knuckle duster from two suspected drug dealers in Moira.

Officers, from Leicestershire Police, arrested a man and a woman, both aged 27, on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs in nearby Blackfordby village on Thursday, June 21.

Police then searched an address in the North West Leicestershire village of Moira, where it is claimed a quantity of cash was discovered along with what is suspected to be Class A and B drugs.

A knuckle duster was also allegedly discovered in vehicle. The pair were arrested and have since been released pending further investigation, said a police spokesman.

A spokesman for Leicestershire Police said: "Yesterday morning [June 21] at 9am we arrested two people.

"A man and a woman, both 27, were arrested in Blackfordby village on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
