A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following an accident in Burton this morning, Tuesday, July 11.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the scene at 7.22am to reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a car at the junction of the A511 Horninglow Street and Hawkins Lane.
A man in his 30s was treated for a leg injury at the scene and was then taken to Burton Queen's Hospital.
There were reports of tailbacks in the area, as the road was closed while paramedics treated the man. The road has since been opened, and traffic is flowing freely again.
