Sarah Tweats is a member of the Organ Donation Committee at Queen’s Hospital, in Burton.
She joined the group after her mother died in 2014 and gave one of her kidneys and her liver to two patients who needed them.
Sarah, from Burton was part of the receiving party on Tuesday, July 25 when the Duke of Gloucester visited Queen’s Hospital to unveil a new commemorative garden in memory of those who have donated organs to save the life of someone else.
What is your favourite film or TV show? Game of Thrones.
What is your favourite takeaway? Chinese
Is there one thing that no one knows about you? Absolutely nothing, I’m a really open person!
What is your ultimate ambition in life? To be happy and for my whole family to be happy.
Have you got any pet hates? When people are late to things.
What is your favourite song? There’s so many, too many to list. Pretty much anything up beat and makes me feel happy.
Marmite; love it or hate it? Love it! Obviously, I’m Burton born and bred.
What is your worst habit? I go on Facebook far too much.
What was your first car? An F registration plate Vauxhall Astra.
If you could make up any law, what would it be? I would set the maximum working week at three days.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? I’d take my family to Disney World Florida.
Who would you invite to a dinner party, dead or alive? Just my mum and dad, I wouldn’t want anybody else.
What would you do if you won the lottery? Just to live a comfortable, but simple life. I’d also adopt lots of cats!
