Police have launched an urgent appeal to find a Stretton schoolgirl who has not been seen since Saturday morning.

Rosie Miles, who also uses the name Rosie Martin, is 14-years-old and 5ft10 with blondish brown hair.

Her sister Bronwyn Moore appealed to social media users to share information about her sister in a bid to bring her home.

It said: "This is an appeal for my sister. She is 14 years old and she has gone missing and hasn't been seen since early Saturday morning! She went missing from Stretton. Police are looking but there hasn’t been any further information and she hasn't been seen since. Please share!"

Rosie has not been seen since yesterday

Bronwyn told the Burton Mail: "We just want you home Rosie, safe and sound."

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police confirmed enquiries are still ongoing as to Rosie’s whereabouts.

He said: "The status is still outstanding and we still haven’t found Rosie."

Anyone with information that may lead to finding the schoolgirl is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting reference number 188 of September 30.
