Spending the day surrounded by pets and being part of nursing them back to health is a dream come true for many – well now that dream could become a reality.

Springwood Vets, in Stapenhill, is looking for a new client care supervisor to manage the reception at the busy practice.

Bosses are looking for someone to join the team who can lead, support and guide the client care team while ensuring that all reception duties are carried out to the highest standard.

The role includes ensuring that all client care team members understand and adopt a totally client-focused approach to their duties, continuously developing the team culture within the practice and wider business and taking ownership and responsibility to ensure the client care team have the resources, skills and knowledge to enable them to provide an “excellent” service to clients.

The successful candidate will also be expected to support the client care team in carrying out general reception and administration duties to include welcoming and assisting clients, answering the telephone and dealing with queries, take payment and cash handling ensuring the Practice Payment Protocol is adhered to at all times, actively promote the services on offer and ensuring the reception and waiting areas are kept clean, tidy and welcoming.

Experience in a similar role and environment would be advantageous. The successful candidate should be friendly, efficient, reliable, self-motivated, professional and confident with excellent communication and line manager skills.

“As a team, we take part in various activities like our annual dog show and charity events and everyone is encouraged to play an active role.

The role will involve some early starts at 8am and late finishes at 7.30pm and the average working hours will be 37.5 per week. Some weekend work will also be necessary as the practice is open seven days a week.
