Burton's own Luca Gallone wowed the Britain's Got Talent crowd and Simon Cowell himself when he appeared on the talent contest in 2015 with a series of incredible, magical acts.

A combination of technology and good old fashioned magic led the way for Luca to almost make it through to the live semi-finals.

Now, Luca sat down with the Burton Mail and told us a bit more about himself, like his unrelenting love for The Office - the UK version of course.

What is your favourite TV show? The Office, the UK version. It’s just genius, virtually any situation in life relates in some way to that programme and anyone who knows me with attest to that.

What is your favourite takeaway? I’m normally a complete health freak, but if I was forced to have one, it’d be a Chinese. I mean you never feel great after eating one, but they do taste good.

Can you think of one thing that nobody knows about you? I’m actually a decent cook. I make an incredible three egg omelette.

What is your ultimate ambition in life? To make a difference, to make people happy and to have an impact. Also, to solve a Rubik’s cube in 10 seconds – behind my back.

Have you got any pet hates? Getting asked, ‘can you walk on water like Dynamo?’ No, Dynamo is actually Jesus.

What is your favourite song? Free Love Freeway, David Brent. A remarkable work of musical brilliance.

Marmite; love it or hate it? Love!

What would you say is your worst habit? Spilling stuff. Drinks, food, you name it. Miraculously, I tend to avoid the 52 card pickup.

What was your first car? Citroen C4.

If you could make up any law, what would it be? When in a social situation, people MUST NOT touch their smart phone. Better still, they should lock it in the garage for the evening.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Bangkok, Thailand.

Who would you invite to a dinner party, dead or alive? Arnold Schwarzenegger, David Copperfield and Richard Branson.

What would you do if you won the lottery? Stock up on a few years’ worth of playing card. You wouldn’t believe how fast I burn through them.
