A cyclist was injured after being involved in a collision with a car on a residential street near one of Uttoxeter’s biggest employers.
Medics were called out to Heath Road, near Fox’s Biscuits, today, Friday, July 14, to deal with the accident.
A West Midlands Ambulance spokesman said: “We sent one ambulance to Heath Road when a car collided with a pedestrian at around 8am. There was one patient, the cyclist, who suffered a minor hip injury and did not require any further treatment.”
The service was called out to a crash near another huge factory last month.
Two elderly patients were treated at the scene after a two-car collision just off the A50, near the JCB Heavy Products factory in Beamhurst.
The accident happened at around 3.45pm on June 16.
