The spring half-term break is nearly here so parents are already thinking of where to take the kids for some fun.

Drayton Manor Park in Staffordshire has got in early with some amazing up to half price offers on entry tickets

The fun begins on Saturday, February 10, when visitors to the park will be able to experience Europe's only Thomas Land, the celebrated zoo and a selection of family rides at the discounted rate.

At Thomas Land children can meet the Fat Controller and ride the troublesome trucks and more than 20 other character rides.

Drayton Manor's 15-acre zoo features cute cotton-top tamarin monkeys, birds of prey and the flame-bellied zonure, which is a kind of giant African lizard.

The February half-term special runs until Sunday, February 25.
