Residents are being advised to keep an eye out for bathroom goods up for sale; they may have been stolen.

Officers from the Hilton safer neighbourhood team want people to let them know if they have been offered bathroom items for sale following a van break-in earlier in August.

Some time on Tuesday, August 8 or Wednesday, August 9, a van was broken into in Thames Way, Hilton, and goods were stolen. A Mira Airburst shower system, similar to the one pictured, was among the items taken.

PC Joe Stafford says they want to hear from anyone who has recently been offered a similar product or any other bathroom goods.

He said: "If you know of anybody who has been offered or bought this type of shower from someone, or if you have seen anybody carrying the box for this item in the village on or around the date of the offence, then we would like to hear from you."
