Jobseekers looking to reach for the sky are in luck – Ryanair is on the lookout for hundreds of new cabin crew members, including some at East Midlands Airport.

Bosses at the airline have announced they are looking to fill more than 200 positions at its bases across the country, including at the Castle Donington airport, to expand their horizons.

Two recruitment days are set to take place in the East Midlands and people interested in applying are being encouraged to get involved.

Crewlink, Ryanair's recruitment partner, will be hosting the recruitment events in East Midlands on Thursday, April 26 and May 14.

Other recruitment days have also been planned across the country, with three in London on April 25, May 11 and May 30 as well as three in Manchester on April 17, April 27 and May 16.

Full training will be provided and prior experience is not necessary.

Applicants will have the opportunity to be based in one of Ryanair’s UK bases upon successful completion of training.

Ryanair currently has more than 9,000 cabin crew who are responsible for maintaining the highest industry safety standards, whilst providing a 'best in class' customer service experience.

Successful applicants will get free training, allowance paid during training, a free uniform in year one and £700 in a new joiners’ allowance.

The airline offers a competitive basic salary, productivity bonus and flight duty pay/sales bonus.

In year one there will be target earnings of £18,000, chances for promotion and a guaranteed two-year contract with offer of a permanent contract thereafter.
