This is the terrifying moment that captures a pushchair with the baby inside rolling into the path of a car on a Swadlincote road.

The shocking video, which was captured on Rebecca Moran's dash cam in her car, has been seen more than 67,000 people online, with many viewers left in complete shock.

Following the incident, Rebecca is urging drivers to keep their wits about them when they are heading out on the roads.

The 25-year-old said: "This really shook me up and I cried my whole way to work - it has been a real eye opener for me.

"Seeing that pushchair rolling towards the road in front of my car was heart stopping. I'm so relieved I saw it and managed to brake in time - before it was too late.

"I just hope that half the people who have viewed, or shared, the video take into consideration what could happen.

"It would save another person's life if you could just be more aware of the road and surroundings.

"It's not something you see every day but there's always that 'what if' in the back of my head; what if I hadn't seen the buggy rolling towards the road; what if my brakes hadn't stopped the car in time; what if the car behind me had hit the back of my car and pushed me forward.

"This incident shows that anything can happen and you really need to concentrate, not just on the road, but on what's happening around you."

Many have taken to social media to commend Rebecca for her driving ability during the incident in Swadlincote Road.

One said: "Lots of people think that being a good driver is measured by the ability to push a pedal with the right foot, this video shows the makings of a good driver - mainly use of the eyes, well done!"

While another added: "I feel for the mother. This has happened to me before. Not on a main road though.

"I put the brake on and sometimes it can come off without me realising. Such an easy accident to happen. Well done to the driver!"
