A special film has been created to honour current and former servicemen and women, showcasing an annual event held at the National Memorial Arboretum.

The arboretum, in Alrewas, held Armed Forced Day on Saturday, June 24, which was sponsored by Central England Co-operative Funeralcare.

More than 6,000 people attended the event which was full of family activities in celebration of all current and former Armed Forces personnel.

Visitors enjoyed a full programme of activities including flypasts from historic warplanes, a performance from the Defence Medical Services Whittington Field Gun Display team, and music from the Band of Royal Corps of Signals.

The film, produced by the organisation, was created to showcase the event in celebration of those who risk their lives for their country.
