Two vehicles were damaged after they were in collision on a busy North West Leicestershire street.

A blue Skoda and a silver Renault Clio were involved in the incident in Occupation Lane, Albert Village, on Sunday morning, May 4.

Leicestershire police said they received a call alerting them to the incident at 8.40am, with the caller stating that it was a two car collision.

There were no reports of anyone being injured in the incident, with both cars appearing to be badly damaged at the front as a result of the crash.

The police force said they did not send anyone out to the incident but the were made aware of it.

One witness reported that it took two hours for the busy road to be cleared of the debris from the vehicles.
