A policeman has traded handcuffs for harmonies after his version of a Meatloaf classic went viral. A video of Derbyshire policeman PC Collins has gone viral after he was filmed blasting out his version of the song I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That).

The hilarious footage was uploaded to Alfreton Safer Neighbourhood Team's Twitter account and has attracted lots of attention.

It shows the officer getting into full flow before he finally realises he has been filmed by his colleague - who doesn't appear to be impressed with his colleague's singing voice.

Alfreton SNT then later tweeted The X Factor judge and producer Simon Cowell asking him for his opinion but he has yet to reply.

Here is some more Meatloaf/police jokes which, hopefully, you will enjoy. Apologies in advance if not.

After presenting the suspect with a list of charges, the policeman said: "Read 'em and weep'."

Police are hunting three men and have made two arrests so far. A force spokesman said: "Well, two out of three ain’t bad".

In covert recordings, the friend was heard promising to provide a false alibi. He told the suspect: "I'd Lie For You."

Having initially denied any knowledge of the crime, the witness told police: "It's all coming back to me now."
