A Burton building which was home to a popular cycle shop is now on the market for a reduced price of £225,000.
Sheffield Cycles, in Station Street, was a go-to store for many cyclists in the town however, in July, the shop was cleared of stock and shut its doors. The firm is still running a repairs and warranty by collection service, says a sign on the door.
The Burton Mail previously revealed that Veneziaa's Italian Restaurant, in nearby Guild Street, had submitted outline plans to move into the former Sheffield Cycles shop, creating an additional three or four full-time jobs.
However, the building is being marketed by Rushton Hickman stating while it has planning consent for retail. The agent also said other suitable uses may include offices or a restaurant.
It is a single storey semi-detached retail premises situated on the corner of Station Street and George Street, with access to a private car park off George Street
There is a car park to the rear, accessed from George Street, with space for eight to 10 cars.
