At just 15, teenager Lauren Fee, from Swadlincote, has high hopes of becoming a professional patisserie chef. Not only has the talented youngster not only recently bagged 'Best Presentation Table' at The Derbyshire Student Chef of The Year awards in Buxton, she is also being encouraged to enter the Future Chef competition by her optimistic teachers at Pingle Academy.

Favourite film or TV series?

My favourite film is Big. I love this film as my favourite actor is Tom Hanks, I think he is brilliant but I chose Big as it was the first Tom Hanks film I watched, plus it’s so funny!

Favourite takeaway?

My favourite takeaway is Fish and Chips as it reminds me of the seaside. I love beaches as they are so relaxed and very pretty but the best thing is, it’s so delicious!

Tell us one thing no-one knows about you?

I used to be really good at running back in primary school!

What’s your ultimate ambition in life?

I want to become a very successful patisserie chef and work with famous chefs. I am also very ambitious at running a cookery school!

Pet hates?

I hate it when people say they don’t like food when they haven’t tried it.

What’s your favourite song?

My favourite song has got to be ‘Despacito’! It’s such a great tune to dance to, plus I love Spanish, so I can translate and sing the song.

Marmite? Love it or hate it?

Funnily enough, I haven’t tried Marmite, so I don’t know!

What’s your worst habit?

My worst habit is picking scabs and spots.

What was your first car?

Unfortunately, I don’t have a car.

If you could make a law, what would it be?

I would create a sign language class in school as I feel everyone may need to use it at some point in their life.

If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be?

Vancouver, Canada. I am a huge fan of ice hockey so going to Canada would be amazing to watch some matches! Also, Vancouver is a very pretty place so that interests me.

Who would you invite to a dinner party - dead or alive?

I would invite the alive as I’m quite a modern person and I love people who are active now! I would invite Zoella, Tom Kerridge, Olly Murs, Micheal Mcintyre, Tom Hanks and Katy Perry. I love them all and they're all my favourite celebs.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

I would give money to my family, I'd make a huge cookery school plus a cafe, I would build a massive ice rink in the back garden, I would also pay for season tickets in ice hockey and get VIP tickets to concerts!
