Your little one could buy a Build-A-Bear cuddly toy for a bargain price in the Derby store this Thursday.
Customers can pay their current age in pounds for any bear in the shop on July 12, even characters such as My Little Pony, Super Mario and Pokemon.
Parents or guardians need to register for the Build-A-Bear bonus reward scheme before Thursday, in order to allow their little one to take part in the offer.
The scheme is free and easy to join online by providing a name and valid email address, The Daily Mirror reports.
It's the perfect opportunity to pick up a toy you, or your little one, may have had your eye on for a while.
However, additional outfits and accessories are sold separately at full price, and customers can't combine any other discounts with your purchase.
The Derby branch located in the intu centre is open 9am to 6pm on Thursday.
How it works?
- Any adults over 18 can enroll in the Build-A-Bear Workshop online before 12 July.
- The offer is only available in stores and are valid for ONE Make-Your-Own furry friend. But outfits, sounds, accessories and scents are NOT included.
- The child who wishes to pay his or her age must be present at the time of purchase.
- You cannot combine the deal with any other promotion or discount.
Sharon Price John, president and chief executive officer, Build-A-Bear Workshop said, "We have overwhelming data that indicates Build-A-Bear is synonymous with childhood, and nearly one-third of our sales are associated with birthdays.
"We 'heart' birthdays at Build-A-Bear, so we're hosting the Pay Your Age Day to launch our year-round 'Count Your Candles' offer for Guests celebrating a birthday with us in stores - an experience we designed especially to commemorate birthdays in a memorable way."
The event, which will also take place in the USA and Canada, marks the launch of the retailers year-round 'Count Your Candles' offer .
In the promotion, anyone aged 14 or under who visits a Build-A-Bear store on their birthday with a reward member will be eligible to buy an item and pay their age.
