Burton Albion manager Nigel Clough has switched to a 3-5-2 formation for today's game against Hull City - and he has made two personnel changes from last week's defeat to Cardiff City.
There is no room in the starting XI for right-back Tom Flanagan - who re-signed for the Brewers on a two-year deal earlier this week after initially rejecting a new deal earlier this summer - and he starts on the bench.
Tom Naylor makes his first Championship appearance this season for the Brewers, coming into the three-man defence alongside Kyle McFadzean and Jake Buxton, skipper John Mousinho making way.
The other change is in midfield, with Hope Akpan slotting into central midfield with Luke Murphy and Jackson Irvine - left-sided man Lloyd Dyer to the bench.
Stephen Bywater starts in goal behind the three-man defence after Connor Ripley made his debut in the 3-2 Carabao Cup win over Oldham Athletic in midweek.
Matty Lund moves out to right-wing-back from his favoured central-midfield position, while another summer signing in Akpan is in for that full league debut alongside regulars Murphy and Irvine, with Stephen Warnock taking up Dyer's usual role of left-wing back.
Marvin Sordell comes in from the right wing to join Lucas Akins up front.
The bench is made up of Ripley, Mousinho, Dyer, Flanagan, Matt Palmer, Joe Sbarra and Luke Varney.
