Burton Albion go in search of a second consecutive Championship victory ahead of the upcoming international break as Sheffield Wednesday arrive at the Pirelli Stadium (3pm).

Albion got themselves off the mark with a 2-1 triumph over Birmingham City last Friday , before booking themselves a Carabao Cup third-round trip to Manchester United courtesy of the midweek win at Cardiff City.

The visiting Owls, meanwhile, also come into the game off the back of their first victory of the league season - and they will be targeting three more points as they seek to build the early foundations for a third successive promotion push.

Can the Brewers recreate their home triumph over Wednesday from 12 months ago?

Nigel Clough could be without several first-team players due to injury and suspension, although loan signings Sean Scannell and Joe Mason could both make their league debuts for Burton.

We'll have all the build-up and team news ahead of kick-off at the Pirelli, before bringing you the key moments and images as the Brewers look to end the first section of the season on a high.

Here's the full reaction today's draw with the Owls from Brewers manager Nigel Clough

And what has Owls boss Carlos Carvalhal had to say about today's match?

I think we deserved much more than what we achieved today, absolutely. The way the players ran, played with heart and kept their discipline, they didn’t deserve to lose the points. We lost Westwood very early in the game and in my opinion it was a clear red card.

Here's some reaction from man of the hour Joe Mason

I couldn’t have dreamed of a better start for myself. Obviously we’d have liked to have won the game today, I thought we had enough chances to do it. But we’ll take the point. I did wan to come on today and get a goal. I thought there were chances in the game and I thought when I was coming on I would get a chance. Luckily I could take it.

Clough looking forward to a relaxed international break

When you go into a break on a loss, it affects the whole two weeks. Everybody goes into it on a downer, but to go into it on a three-game unbeaten run with the Man United game to look forward to in a few weeks, everybody is on a high for the next couple of weeks - and so they should be.

Nigel Clough praises Mason's instinct on the strike

I thought his finish today was something nobody can teach or coach, you either know where the goal is in that situation or don’t .

It’s nice to have a goal-scorer on the bench - somebody who you can bring on and know is capable of a goal

Full-time! Burton 1-1 Wednesday

That’s all from an eventful second-half which saw Joe Mason come on and score within minutes of making his Albion debut.

Wednesday couldn’t reply despite bringing on the likes of Ross Wallace and Jordan Rhodes.

That’s three games unbeaten now for Burton, and there’s full match reaction to come from another dramatic day at the Pirelli.
