Burton Albion's home Championship clash with Birmingham City will be shown live on Sky Sports for the second season running.

The Blues' trip to the Pirelli Stadium will now be played on Friday August 18 (7.45pm kick-off) in front of the Sky cameras. It was due to take place on Saturday August 19.

Last term, then-Birmingham and former Albion boss Gary Rowett saw his City side beaten 2-0 by Nigel Clough's Brewers live on Sky on Friday October 21.

Lloyd Dyer opened the scoring with a sublime outside-of-the-foot finish, before Nottingham Forest loanee Jamie Ward made sure of the points in the second half, volleying under Adam Legzdins to make it 2-0.

It is the third Brewers game to be rescheduled so far.

Sheffield United's visit to the Pirelli has been moved to Friday November 17 (7.45pm), while the Brewers will travel to Cardiff City to face ex-Albion boss Neil Warnock on Good Friday, March 30 (3pm).
