Burton Albion fans planning to head to the Madejski Stadium will face significant disruption this weekend as a result of strikes.

The Brewers face Reading on Saturday (3pm) in a bid to secure their first back-to-back wins of the season.

Cross Country Trains have been unable to reach an agreement with the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) Union resulting in strikes across the network.

And that means Brewers fans travelling to Reading to cheer on the Albion will have to re-think their travel plans with no direct services operating from Derby to Reading.

Hourly trains from Derby to Birmingham and then from Birmingham to Reading will operate, requiring the travelling faithful to change at Birmingham New Street for a direct service to Reading.

A full list of services running on Saturday can be found here, with disruption also affecting services on Sunday December 24, Wednesday December 27 and Sunday December 31.
