Sean Scannell replaces Joe Mason up front as Nigel Clough makes only one change from the Burton Albion team that drew with Norwich City in midweek.

Having seen his side secure their first away point of the season - as well as a first clean sheet in the process - Clough has largely stuck with the same players that matched the Canaries, again electing for a 3-5-2 system.

Scannell's return from a calf injury to start alongside Marvin Sordell up front is the sole alteration, with Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Mason dropping to the bench.

The central midfield three of Luke Murphy, Lucas Akins and Jamie Allen is unchanged, with John Brayford and Stephen Warnock again selected at wing-backs, having started the last two outings earlier in the week.

Jake Buxton, Kyle McFadzean and Ben Turner are at centre-half, and Stephen Bywater retains the goalkeeper's spot.

Matty Lund has stepped up his comeback from a calf problem by making the bench, where will sit alongside Connor Ripley, Tom Naylor, Tom Flanagan, Lloyd Dyer, Luke Varney and Mason.
