Sky Sports are planning a major revamp - and Burton Albion fans can get their sports fix for a new cheaper rate as a result.
Albion fans saw the club operate at a higher profile last term due to the nature of their place in the Championship.
The broadcaster screened two league matches live on Sky Sports last season - the 1-0 home win over Derby County in August, followed up by a 2-0 victory over Birmingham City a couple of months later.
The Brewers also had their 5-0 EFL Cup defeat by Liverpool screened live on Sky in August.
The broadcaster currently operates Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2, Sky Sports 3, Sky Sports 4 and Sky Sports 5.
But now Sky chiefs have opted to stop broadcasting the numbered channels and replace them with more sport-specific channels as a result of the success of their Formula One branded station.
Football will be allocated two slots, while golf and cricket will also get a dedicated channel, while F1 will keep its current home.
As part of the revamp, Sky will launch a new channel entitled "Sky Sports Arena" which will broadcast rugby union, rugby league and tennis.
Sky Sports News HQ, their 24-hour rolling news service, is unaffected by the changes.
The reasoning behind this is believed to be to allow customers to tailor their subscriptions to their specific needs, and to target those who prefer alternative or illicit means of watching content.
It is also a response to those who have decided against taking out a Sky Sports subscription because of cost - with many paying for the full package at a cost of more than £50 per month.
However, the cheapest package will now be £18 per month, with Sky Sports Mix remaining free for viewers with basic packages. The entire Sky Sports bundle will be more costly.
