With the transfer window slamming shut at 11pm tonight, clubs are scrambling around looking to get deals done and reinforcements through the door.
One of those clubs is Scottish giants Celtic, who are hoping to prise Bristol City defender Aden Flint away from Ashton Gate according to the Bristol Post .
Flint is in-demand, with a bid worth around £3.5 million turned down by Birmingham City earlier this week - with the Blues after a replacement for the departed Ryan Shotton, who has moved to Middlesbrough.
Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers is reportedly a fan of Flint, and the attraction of Champions League football, but any deal for the former Alfreton Town man would have to be concluded by tonight's 11pm deadline.
Another player on the move is Jota - who is set to sign for Birmingham City from Championship rivals Brentford.
The Daily Mail reckons that the Spaniard is set to move to St Andrews for around £6 million - despite the midfielder holding out for a Premier League move.
Harry Redknapp is quoted by the Mail as saying: "He's (Jota) got great ability. There won't be many better players in the Championship than him, that's for sure. We're very very pleased to have got that one done."
