A very special guitarist is set to blow audience members’ minds with his jazzy licks at Doveridge Club.
BD Lenz will travel to the UK from New Jersey, USA, as the latest guest artist to play the regular Meet on the Ridge nights at the Sand Lane venue.
The jazz, blues and rock player will be joined by his bass player and drummer as he performs before a set from Uttoxeter blues-rock legends the Vice-Bishops.
When both acts have played their sets, they will indulge in a collaborative performance to close the night’s proceedings.
Lenz has released 10 highly-acclaimed recordings, featuring greats such as Randy Brecker, Will Lee, Joel Rosenblatt and Mark Egan.
His music has been featured in hundreds of TV shows globally including Breaking Bad, Catfish and Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations.
BD Lenz will entertain at the club on Friday, July 14 and tickets cost £3 on the door. The show gets under way at around 8.30pm.
