A popular acoustic act is set to grace the stage of a top independent Uttoxeter coffee house as part of a summer of live music at the venue.
Delta Echoes will perform at Bear Coffee Co, in High Street, on Saturday, July 8 from 7pm. The five-piece act, who describe their style as “back-alley country blues with cool harmonies”, will perform as part of Bear’s Six Weeks of Summer programme.
It will see six live acts perform in the space of six consecutive Saturday nights. Bear Coffee Co has recently enjoyed success opening on Friday and Saturday evenings, offering burgers, pizzas, artisan cocktails and a range of tasty craft beers.
The Deltas have built a strong reputation in the Uttoxeter area in the last 18 months, combining four-part harmonies with rhythm on a cajon, melodies by virtuoso keyboard player Carl Damiano, acoustic guitar and bass.
They play a range of covers in an up-tempo Americana style. Their back catalogue ranges from popular tunes by The Band to the likes of White Stripes.
